Dear cousin Alex I
received your letter long
a t{ime} ago I think you
are mad already because
5 	i dident write you sooner
It is raining here again to
day we are through with
corn planting yesterday
I was toold slosan {...} is dead
10	he died the 19th of may when
you see Ida you can tell
her that ald slosan is dead
I went to school four days
and we have such a cross
15 	teacher and now I h{ai}nt
going any more last Friday
i was down to the prairy
we took six Cows down
to the herd and six we
20 	have home yet, that will
do for this time fore I dont
know any more your cousin
