Feb 13/ Dear nephiew I just rec‘d your card and see that you got home alright we are having 5 a bad snow storm today I was to Evensvill Sat. and found the old place about the same the only difference I see that they inlarged the house 10 I got back sunday noon they wanted me to stay till monday morning but I dont like to bother people to much sunday afternoon I visited Mr Rowe 15 for an hour they wanted me to stay for supper but I tought as l[ong] as they did not have room for me for the time that I am in Madison I pay for my meal 20 so you can see that I am kind of a contrary fellow last Eve we had a meeting of our own no Prof. to Bother with the time past about as fast as I Ever s[ee] it 25 go Every body made a little speach that {was} something you ought to heard me your uncle A A Goetsch I wrote as much as I could get on the card
