Krueger, 5 Watertown, Wis Dear Friend: I suppose you will be surprised to hear from me but a bad 10 penny always comes back. As I am going to Milwaukee I thought that I would spend next Sunday May 27th with you if it is 15 convenient for you. I will come on the afternoon passenger train which starts from here at 1.35 p.m. on Saturday next. I think it reaches 20 Watertown about an hour and a half or two hours later. Mr. Krueger will know. Now if it will inconvenience you at 25 all don’t hesitate to say so and I will go straight through to Milwaukee. We have been waiting for a long time to have 30 an oppertunity to enter- tain you but are always doomed to disappointment. so I thought I would impose on you again 35 and on Miss Krueger. Remember I will not be offended if you tell me you are not prepared for company 40 as this is often the case on the farm I know.
