This collection was collected by Carl Goth of Middleton, WI and Theona End of Campbell Hill, IL and later Verona, WI. Goth collected letters from his wife, and children, while End collected letters from family and friends alike. This collection is made up of over 65 letters written in Germany and the US from 1857-1919. To date the only transcriptions I've included were those written in the US and which were used in my dissertation. These were written 1867-1919. Of these 35, 25 were written in German and ten in English. These documents come from 16 different authors.

Goth Collection index

Letters listed in bold are in German, others are in English. Some letters listed in the indexes are not used in analysis; all excluded from analysis are noted. For more transcription conventions go here.
